Excuse me, are you British?
"An absolutely hysterical read in a somewhat similar mould to 'On The Road' - Stephen McGinity is a modern day Jack Kerouak with a fantastic sense of humor and a no-holds barred take on everyday life in general. Thought provoking, shamelessly honest, thoroughly descriptive and a laugh out loud look at the all-American railroad journey and the colorful characters we tend to meet throughout our lives. I haven't laughed so much in years and considering as this is the writers first novel, i sincerely look forward to a follow up.
A timeless classic!" - Catherine Lambert
"Think, The Rum Diaries meets On The Road and you will have some idea as to the sort of content of this book, although uniquely different in its own way. I have read both of those other books and now having read this one i have to give credit where it is due and say that i enjoyed it immensely. It is both funny and engrossing in equal measures and really kept me wanting to read another page in order to find out what Monty Python-esque situations the writer found himself to be in during his adventure across the states.
All in all, i loved it and it made me laugh a lot, even on the bus to work at 8am surrounded by strangers. This is a great debut by a clearly talented British author that, if you are like me, will give you itchy feet to get out there and travel and live life to the max!" - Amber Williamson

"Every once in a while, an author will come along who will break free from the shackles and repressed thinking of modern day society. Stephen McGinity is that most recent of commodities." -The New York Times
