Excuse me, are you British?
Between September 7th and October 6th 2011, i crossed the entirety of The United States Of America from East coast to West coast on a train journey via Amtrak, whilst stopping off at a number of amazing cities along the way. This is my story of one small town boys descriptive, informative and hysterically funny true adventure, armed with nothing more than a bag, a notepad and pen, a camera, a pedometer, my sharp wits and British charm.
No cellphone, no laptop...no interruptions.
Come join me on my month long rollercoaster ride covering thousands of miles across the land of the free and the home of the brave and experience the REAL America as you never could have imagined it...
...through the eyes of an Englishman.

The Naked Bohemians
"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before." - Edgar Allan Poe
The Naked Bohemians is a vivid and powerfully imaginative collection of short stories from acclaimed author Stephen McGinity. Revolving around a weird and often wonderful array of characters, each with their own individual tale to tell.
Whether it be the recollections of a childhood shattered by remorse, a night in the life of an aging prostitute with dreams of grandeur, or simply a loveable vampire with a comical loathing for blood. These works of fiction are set alight with the boldness and fire of the author's genius.
"Every once in a while, an author will come along who will break free from the shackles and repressed thinking of modern day society. Stephen McGinity is that most recent of commodities." THE NEW YORK TIMES.

Excuse me, are you European?
From the mouthwatering pintxos of Bilbao to the Neapolitan Camorra.
The eccentric millionaire rock stars of Dublin to wild karaoke nights in Zadar.
And crazy Finnish natives to a monument curiously named Fat Margaret.
Thirty days spent travelling around some of Europe's most historically beautiful cities never felt so good.
I therefore invite you to join me once again, as i submerge myself within a fine selection of European delights and wonders. While offering up one of the most honest, dry-witted and heartfelt travel companions that you may ever need.
Oh, did I forget to mention the salt mining dwarves of Krakow and those mischievous, yet oh so dastardly, Irish leprechauns?
